COMT is responsible to evaluate the health effects of the new products and especially of anti-proliferative and anti-carcinogenic properties.

COMT uses cell lines of human origin taken from healthy or pathological intestinal tissues as in vitro models of the gastrointestinal system. The main objective is to identify, through specific assays, the chemoprotective properties of bioactive components and of the digests of different products.
