BIOGEST-SITEIA – Characterization of vegetal extracts obtained from by-products of regional grapes and of linseed rich in omega-3, used to reformulate the experimental diets of pigs previously genotyped for genes involved in fat metabolism. It is also responsible for the determination of the slaughtering parameters of the investigated intermediate size pigs, as well as for the evaluation of quality and commercial shelf life of pork (Longissimus dorsi).
